This Privacy Policy explains how Promptube ("the App", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application. By using Promptube, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. How We Use Your Information

To monitor and analyze usage trends to improve the App

3. Third-Party Services

Promptube uses the following third-party services to operate:

Google Firebase (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging) — used to authenticate users, store app data and user-generated content, host uploaded images, and deliver push notifications. Firebase's privacy practices are described at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Google Sign-In — used to let you sign in with your Google account. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.

These providers may collect information as governed by their own privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information to third parties, and we do not use advertising SDKs in this App.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information:

With service providers (such as Firebase) strictly to operate the App
If required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Promptube, our users, or the public
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you where required

Content you choose to make public within the App (such as prompts you post publicly) will be visible to other users of the App.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the App's services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard measures, including those provided by Firebase (encryption in transit and at rest, access controls), to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

Promptube is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child without parental consent, we will delete it promptly.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Access & correction: You can view and update your profile information within the App.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the email below.
Notifications: You can opt in or out of push notifications from within the App or your device settings.
Data portability: You may request a copy of the data associated with your account.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EEA/UK) or applicable Indian data protection law. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.

9. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, through our use of Firebase infrastructure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
